![]() ![]() A helper to hold the engine while you torque the clutch nut onto the motor at 28-33 ft pounds is also necessary. A set of JIS screwdrivers REALLY helps to remove the side case screws and the outer clutch cover screws although an impact driver is also very useful. You might as well get a side case gasket and a outer clutch cover gasket before diving in. You will need a clutch nut socket and some snap ring pliers to get to the shift drum stopper. The area you are looking for is under the main drive gear on the riders right side of the engine. But somebody sure could have thrashed a gear. 2200 miles is a little low for fork wear to be much of a problem unless oil changes were ignored. ![]()
